Realm of the Tiger
Intensive Conservation and Education Program
A 5-day/4-night field conservation and education program, Realm Of The Tiger is designed with zookeepers and educators in mind, particularly those keen to enhance their knowledge and experience in species recovery and big cat conservation.
Spend time with MYCAT’s core conservation team as they lead you through tiger habitat. Besides participating in anti-poaching surveillance walks in which you’ll search for snares and traps, and report illegal activities for enforcement action, you’ll get to check trail cameras and track wildlife signs to monitor wildlife presence, visit the MYCAT tree nursery and plant forest saplings to restore degraded and destroyed habitat and camp overnight with members of the local indigenous Bateq community to experience life as a nomad who shares the forest with an apex predator.
